Golden prize for a golden boy: Andrew Tan’s Megaworld upgrades reward for Carlos Yulo with P35 million package

Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo’s Olympic gold medal wins have made him a national hero, and bilyonaryo Andrew Tan’s Megaworld Corporation is making sure his victory is duly celebrated.

Initially promised a two bedroom for a gold medal win, Megaworld decided to double down on its generosity after Yulo clinched two gold medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics. It is now offering Yulo a larger three-bedroom unit in one of its prestigious residential properties, McKinley Hill.

The three-bedroom unit, valued at P32 million, will come fully furnished with high-end appliances and modern amenities. Featuring two balconies, a separate maid’s room, and a dedicated parking space, this luxurious unit celebrates Yulo’s historic achievement.

But that’s not all. To sweeten the deal, Megaworld is also giving the gymnast a P3 million cash bonus.
